Happy Birthday Tolu!
This year will make it over a decade since we have been friends and I have never regretted any passing second with you. You bring extra meaning into this world and as you turn a year older I want to remind you how exceptionally special you are, how your beauty would brighten even a darkened room, how everyday with you in my corner I count as double blessing.
More than anything else, I am proud of the woman you are becoming; you inspire the vast majority of us of the many possibilities of things we could be, amazing how you continue to push boundaries.
I find that one of my favourite things about you is the value you continue to place on friendships. You are almost always there for everyone, how admirable, sometimes, even enviable. And one of my many wishes for you today is for you to get from friendship as much value or even more than you give to it.
I will never tire, to hear you laugh, watch you get stunned and impressed by the smallest things or even wear out from the many questions you ask. Neither will I get tired of telling you at any chance I get how beautiful you are.
Perfection may not exist in this world but I see a close representation in you. And today, I wish amongst many things that you get everything you have always wanted in and from life, that lines align pleasantly for you, that you find lasting satisfaction, fulfillment and happiness in this life and that always you remember that you are that babe, deserving of everything positive the world has to offer.

This year’s birthday was especially chill; massage and Spa day kinda zen. A solo, low-key birthday by design. Yet it felt so full, so rich, so whole. I am forever grateful to God; the author and finisher of my Faith. To God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit, from whom all my blessings flow. The lifter-up of my head.
